Account deletion
Leaving? Everything goes with you.
Deleting your Mann account permanently removes your journal entries, reflections, insights, mood history, chat sessions, and the account itself. There is no archive, no recovery, and no “30-day grace period” where we secretly keep things. Gone means gone.
The fastest way: inside the app
- Open Mann and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

What exactly gets deleted
- All journal entries (already encrypted on your device — we couldn’t read them while you were here either), drafts, reflections, and insights.
- Mood logs, weekly reports, chat history, habits, and program progress.
- Your profile, notification tokens, and subscription record.
- Your sign-in credentials (the Firebase Auth account).
Community posts are not linked to your identity — they are published under a random anonymous handle and stay that way. Payment records required by Indian tax law are retained by our payment processor as mandated. Questions, or trouble signing in? Email privacy@mannjournal.app with the subject “Account deletion request” and we’ll complete it within 7 days.
